Four people have been charged after police busted a cannabis crop at a rural property in a town between Cohuna and Kerang.

Victoria Police Media Advisor Adam West says five people fled, with some attempting a getaway via an irrigation channel when police arrived at the property.

“You can see some of our alleged offenders scarper away there in their high-vis tops, which probably isn’t a good idea if you’re trying to run away from us,” he told Ross and Russ.

Mr West says police are still looking for one man and urge anyone with information to reach out to CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
