Newly appointed shadow Treasurer Tim Wilson says a Liberal government will reorient the economy to focus on the self-employed, family, and small businesses.

Mr Wilson told Tom Elliott the key thing for him would be to “confront” corruption.

“We’re literally borrowing from the future and incurring debt to finance corruption, and that’s tomorrow taxes,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

He’s also called out Anthony Albanese for dismissing a question regarding how much federal money had gone into the Big Build.
