Tom Elliott has had his say on the new suggestions for tax reform coming out of Canberra, including a ‘bold’ suggestion from Independent MP Allegra Spender.

The 3AW Mornings host labelled the MP’s idea ‘unfair’, saying that it puts those who have invested to support their retirement at a disadvantage.

“What I am trying to do is to help young people and people who are working to get ahead, because a lot of people feel now that if they just work, there is no way to build the security that you used to be able to in Australia,” Independent MP Allegra Spender told Tom Elliott.
