A car has flipped and caught fire on CityLink on Wednesday afternoon.

Dan Veling from Transport Victoria provided the latest on the incident.

“Traffic is car parked back over the Bolte Bridge,” Veling said on 3AW Drive.

A Lamborghini collided with a BMW resulting in the Lamborghini ending up on its roof.

The drivers remained on scene and there were no serious injuries.

The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
