The only snow leopard cubs in all of Australia are now out of quarantine at Melbourne Zoo.

Life sciences manager carnivores and ungulates at Melbourne Zoo Laura Weiner says snow leopards can comfortably live in a wide range of temperatures.

“They’re from our mum Miska and dad Kang-ju,” she told Ross and Russ.

She’s also revealed Melbourne Zoo has one of the only successful snow leopard breeding programs.
