Opposition leader Jess Wilson has acknowledged Victorians are extremely frustrated at the moment, telling Tom Elliott her party works hard to hold the Allan government to account.

I am out listening every day, working to earn their trust, to outline our vision for Victoria, to fix the many challenges in this state,” she said.

She’s also dismissed any concerns about One Nation splitting the Liberal vote, saying South Australia was in a different situation to Victoria.

“Here in Victoria, people want to change the government. They know that this state is headed in the wrong direction,” she said.

The 3AW Mornings host pointed out an estimated 28 per cent of Victorians are planning to vote for One Nation at the state election later this year.

And these are not the people who are going to vote Labor. These are people who will put Pauline Hanson’s One Nation … as number one,” he said.
