The city is set for a shake-up following an announcement from the City of Melbourne this morning.

With one iconic street set to be change the way it operates to accommodate the pedestrians over vehicles.

Speaking with Tony Moclair, Melbourne Lord Mayor, Nick Reece said “if it’s done right, it will generate a lot of new activity for businesses in the area and make our city accessible for more people”.

The change is set to come into effect this year.
