Shane McInnes has questioned whether free public transport for a month in Victoria has exposed the flaws within the transport network.

The 3AW host highlighted the issues on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines in particular, as well as the V/Line crowd crush at Southern Cross Station over the long weekend.

“Free is great, but only when there is reliability of service, and our train network lacks that reliability,” McInnes said.
