Leigh Matthews has fired up over Geelong head coach Chris Scott having to apologise to the AFL for his criticism about wildcard round.

Scott labelled the round a “cash grab”, but has since had to apologise according to Caroline Wilson.

“Apologise for telling the truth?” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
