‘It’s crippling companies’: Aussie trucking industry facing a total wipeout
The Australian trucking industry is at a breaking point, with industry leaders warning that many operators are bracing for a total financial collapse in as little as six weeks as fuel prices skyrocket.
Speaking on 3AW Breakfast, Victorian Transport Association chief executive Peter Anderson warned these “crippling” costs are exhausting cash flow, leaving companies unable to cover million-dollar fuel bills.
