Jacqui Felgate has brought up the 18 regional MPs in Victoria that have claimed hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer-funded allowances for a second home.

Premier Jacinta Allan is one of those MPs, but the 3AW Drive host decided to highlight Treasurer Jaclyn Symes’ situation.

“It is the ultimate case of do as I say, and not as I do,” Felgate said.

“You, the taxpayer, are paying for her (Symes) to have a second residence and paying her land tax,” Felgate added.

“That is fundamentally unfair.”
