Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes released her second state budget on Tuesday.

Tom Elliott weighed in on the state government’s budget, and says it has “many holes” in it.

“We are being governed by idiots,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Shadow Attorney General and former Shadow Treasurer, James Newbury, then outlined the steps the opposition would take to reduce debt in Victoria.

“We are going to hunt it down … everybody who’s behaved illegally, they are going to be in big, big trouble,” Newbury said.
