As AI continues to expand, its potential to replace legal professionals, specifically those in entry-level positions, has become a growing concern.

Technology and AI scientist Professor Matt Cooper-Hols discussed this shift on 3AW Breakfast with Ross & Russ, explaining that while he doesn’t predict “the workforce will shrink,” roles in the legal sector “will change”.

“AI is getting so complicated we’re actually using AI itself to check and keep AI honest,” says Professor Hols.
