Police are investigating how hundreds of glass panels have shattered at bus stops, tram shelters, homes and businesses, across virtually every corner of Melbourne.

And Jacqui Felgate has labelled it the “biggest case of vandalism and criminal damage” in terms of the scope across the city.

“This state is a free for all, it is a tip,” the 3AW Drive host said.

Bus driver Karen said the vandalism of bus stops in her area is “appalling”, while Claire, mother and part of the ‘Grime Stoppers’ group, issued a similar sentiment.
