Cyclist delivers powerful message to Victoria’s leaders after attacker has charges dropped
A disappointed cyclist has spoken out after his attacker, a teenage girl who mowed him down in a car in March and left him with a bleed on the brain, had 109 charges dropped due to her age.
Cyclist Dave told Jacqui Felgate it was “pure evil” behind the wheel of the car, and was very angry after finding out she’d been freed.

“We were all once really proud of being Melburnians, and it feels like it’s just a zoo out there at the moment,” Dave said on 3AW Drive.
Chana also fell victim to the 14-year-old girl, saying she was with her sister and their children when they were nearly hit by a car and heckled with anti-Semitic remarks in Ripponlea.

Attorney General Sonya Kilkenny spoke on the incident today, and her comments were labelled “offensive” by the 3AW Drive host.
