Crime Stoppers tip stops an array of drugs and weapons from hitting the streets
An anonymous tip off to Crime Stoppers has stopped an array of weapons and a cannabis crop from hitting the streets.
Police raided the property in Mornington on Wednesday morning following the call where they uncovered firearms, knuckle-dusters’, knives, a machete and two kilos of cannabis.
Speaking with 3AW Breakfast, Victoria Police Media Officer Katherine McLeod, said that incidents such as these show how valuable the public’s assistance is.

The 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with 21 offences.
Appearing in the Frankston Magistrates court today, where he was remanded and will reappear later next month.
