This week, the AFL confirmed that Hawthorn will no longer play home games in Tasmania from the 2028 AFL season.

Hawthorn President Andrew Gowers joined Sports Today and spoke about the club’s disappointment about the AFL’s decision to block the Hawks from playing home games in Tasmania.

“We debated to the last moment for sure,” Gowers said.
