Aussies are being welcomed with open arms by our neighbour across the ditch.

With New Zealand’s finance minister encouraging more Australians to escape our government’s hefty taxes, specifically their lack of comprehensive capital gains tax.

Appearing on 3AW Breakfast, New Zealand Minister of Finance, Hon Nicola Willis, said that their tax system is so attractive because of its simplicity.

“You’re an Aussie who wants to get ahead and you’re a bit fed up with the tax settings over there, come on over, where the bloody hell are you? You’re welcome here,” Willis said.

Historically New Zealanders has lost many of its citizens to Australia, as they move for greater opportunity.
