An investigative journalist who uncovered that bikies have infiltrated the North East Link project has reacted to Premier Jacinta Allan’s claim there’s “no evidence” that has happened.

“Perhaps the Premier has lost the use of her computer because you just have to Google North East Link and bikies to know that bikies indeed have cashed in,” The Age journalist Nick McKenzie told 3AW Breakfast.

“Not for a moment do I say the Premier of Victoria is corrupt … but at what point does the failure to properly investigate corruption and acknowledge corruption become corruption itself? I think that’s the question that Victoria faces at the moment.”
