A new report shows that Australian boys’ education is going backwards on most important metrics.

University of Sunshine Coast associate professor in educational psychology and child development Dr Michael Nagel told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott there was “no question” more male teachers would have a positive impact.

“It’s really tragic that we don’t see more men in the profession [teaching],” Dr Nagel said.
