‘Successful School Starters’: The opposition’s ‘revolutionary’ education program proposition
The opposition unveiled plans for a revolutionary program which would see all Victorian children observed in their first school year for signs of autism or ADHD.
Opposition education spokesman Brad Rowswell told 3AW Mornings host Heidi Murphy the ‘Successful School Starters’ program will be aimed at accelerating early interventions.
“Embedded in that program will be an occupational therapist and a speech pathologist who will observe those foundation classes and every student in that foundation class for at least 15 minutes a student.”
