Protesters are expected to descend on a One Nation campaign fundraiser in Moonee Ponds in response to the party’s ‘Fire the Liar’ fundraiser, which has raised nearly $3 million as of Friday morning.

Pauline Hanson’s chief of staff James Ashby told 3AW Mornings host Heidi Murphy they knew they were gaining traction.

“That [protests] says to me we’re getting cut through. When the filth come out and want to protest against One Nation, you know you’re doing something right.”
