There are reports two people who assisted Dezi Freeman while he was on the run are in hiding overseas.

Veteran crime reporter John ‘Sly’ Silvester told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross and Russel police continued to investigate who was harbouring Freeman for the seven months he was on the run.

“They [the police] are going into New South Wales, the view is he may well have been in there for some time.”
