Nine Network Today show host Karl Stefanovic is reportedly on the brink of losing his job after recording a podcast with UK political activist Tommy Robinson.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross and Russel he did not think Stefanovic had actually done anything “sackable”.

“I think he is guilty of being stupid and reckless, if you’re going to have Tommy Robinson on you’ve got to challenge him,” he said.
