A tobacconist in Richmond was the victim of a ram raid and firebombing early on Monday morning.

Nine reporter Christine Ahearn told 3AW Breakfast hosts Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen the damage has spread to surrounding businesses.

“There’s about 80 firefighters on scene and there’s a community warning for smoke in the area,” she said.
