The state Labor leader has had to defend to her cabinet her refusal to establish a royal commission into Big Build corruption, despite overwhelming public support for one.

“I’ve never seen anything quite like it,” McKenzie said on 3AW Breakfast.

“The vast majority of Victorians, who I would’ve thought our Premier was there to serve, want this. Her arguments against one are really, really weak.”

Sly of the Underworld then weighed in after hearing Nick McKenzie’s comments.
