A volunteer-run non-profit that provides equine-assisted activities for people with a disability was hit by a break-in overnight on Thursday.

Riding for the Disabled president Liz Dwyer told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft a lot of the items stolen were fundamental to their existence, and they could not afford to replace them.

“I arrived on Friday morning to find all of our very valuable machinery and tools had been stolen overnight,” she said.
