Former Victorian Premier Steve Bracks has shared his thoughts on the big shake-up in the state Labor Party today.

Ben Carroll has been announced as the new Premier, after Jacinta Allan announced her resignation.

“She has been an achiever over a long, long period of time,” Bracks said on 3AW Drive.

“Jacinta Allan was like the kid you didn’t invite to the house party, they trash the joint, and they left before you could make them pay for what they did,” the 3AW Drive host said.
