The Age state political editor Chip Le Grand weighed in on newly elected Victorian Premier Ben Carroll and how his leadership could impact Victoria.

He told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott there are now essentially two opposition parties in competition with each other.

“You’ve got Ben Carroll who is effectively running as an opposition against the policies of the Andrews and Allan governments that he has disagreed with,” Le Grand said.
