An investigation has been launched after a 98-year-old woman died, after waiting nearly three hours for paramedics to arrive at her Victorian home.

3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate has weighed in on the tragedy and the ongoing issue of ambulance ramping, saying “hospitals can’t keep up”.

“This is a sleeper issue in a broken state,” Felgate said.
