3AW Football has announced its coverage for the 2026 AFLW season, proudly continuing its commitment to elite women’s football. Marking its fourth season calling AFLW matches, 3AW will broadcast one marquee match per week throughout the competition.

3AW Football remains the only commercial radio station broadcasting the blockbuster season opener between St Kilda and Carlton live from Marvel Stadium.

2026 Broadcast Line-Up & On-Air Team

• Renowned broadcaster Laura Spurway will spearhead 3AW’s AFLW coverage each week.
• Eddie Summerfield and Julian Marcus lead the call box to deliver every moment of action.
• Two-time All-Australian and Geelong’s longest-serving AFLW captain Meg McDonald joins as expert commentator each week.
• Carlton captain Abbie McKay returns for her second year skippering the Blues, while North Melbourne star Libby Birch sets her sights on securing an incredible fifth premiership title.
