A monster pothole on the Princes Highway near Bunyip is causing havoc in the wet weather.

At least 23 cars have struck it with many motorists forced to change tyres.

Caller Matthew told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft the area is a “disaster”.

“It needs something, it’s just atrocious,” he said.

Member for Narracan Wayne Farnham told Ross and Russ he has brought this specific section of road up in parliament multiple times.

“It happens all the time … but the government just does not fix the roads in our area,” he said.
