Liberal Party state leader Jess Wilson told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott the death of 60-year-old shop owner Van Viet Truong “made her blood boil”.

Wilson described the current criminal justice system as “broken” and pledged to tighten bail legislation if the Liberal Party were to be elected in Victoria.

“We will put in place a one-strike rule for bail so that if you commit a serious offence and break bail, you will go to jail. No ifs, no buts,” she said.
