On Tuesday, a mother was repeatedly stabbed, and her 10-year-old son was punched during a random attack outside the Victoria Police headquarters in Melbourne.

The mother has released a statement, and 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate weighed in on the distressing incident.

“No one should go through something like this,” Felgate said.
