Victorian Premier Ben Carroll has said that, if re-elected will cap tolls at $40 a week, a policy very similar to the Liberals’ $50-a-week toll cap promise.

3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate has weighed in on the promises from both parties, saying Transurban investors will be “laughing all the way to the bank”.

“Both parties are now saying the taxpayer is going to give Transurban more money,” Felgate said.
