Jacqui Felgate has reacted to comments made by Premier Ben Carroll today in light of the death of a motorcyclist on the Western Highway over the weekend.

“I don’t like the way he said that,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“It is time for Ben Carroll to put up and accept responsibility for a decade of funding cuts.”

Mayor of the City of Kingston, Georgina Oxley, also had a message for the Premier, as residents in her area take matters into their own hands to try and get the roads fixed.

“We need them fixed, they need to be fixed properly and the roads need to be maintained, it’s as simple as that,” Ms Oxley told Felgate.
