Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has shared his thoughts on the John Farnham tribute concert at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday.

It was promoted as a “once in a lifetime event” with stars like Celine Dion, Chris Martin, Kate Ceberano, Jimmy Barnes and many more paying tribute to the Australian icon.

But there was one aspect of the concert Ford thought was a “great shame”.

“The event kind of ended up being tinged with a little bit of sadness,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.
