Former Premiers Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan may lose special immunity afforded to them ahead of any potential IBAC inquiries or royal commission.

Shadow Attorney General James Newbury told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott the government has privately expressed their desire to keep the immunity.

“I’m hoping that over the week public pressure and common sense will push the government, push Ben Carroll, into realising we just don’t accept that cover-up power remaining,” he said.
