3AW host Shane McInnes has fired up over a concerning story involving the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The story relates to new emergency beds in the hospital, and the alleged lack of funding by the state government.

“This is utopia level incompetence at its best,” McInnes said.

“That is a complete failure here in Victoria.”

AMA Victoria President, Simon Judkins, has been left “immensely disappointed” by the latest news.

“I think everybody needs to be at least at a minimum concerned, and needs to ask the questions about why we’re in this dire situation,” Mr Judkins said.
