Melbourne crowned ‘world’s friendliest city’
Melbourne beat cities such as Seoul, Amsterdam and Lisbon to take out the title of “world’s friendliest city”.
Visit Victoria chief executive Brendan McClements told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft that he was not surprised by the news.

“This is a great recognition of one of Melbourne’s greatest strengths. Our people, and our tourism operators in particular, deliver a fantastic service for guests who visit us from overseas,” he said.
