The president of a cricket club in Melbourne’s north-west which was targeted by e-bike vandals in a brazen daylight attack on Monday has told Jacqui Felgate it’s “a slap in the face”.

“These guys are just basically laughing in the face of the community,” Strathmore Cricket Club president Ash Martin said. “It’s just disappointing because you feel like there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Strathmore Cricket Club is the latest victim in a spate of e-bike vandal attacks on cricket clubs in recent weeks, after similar incidents in Williamstown and Caroline Springs.
