3AW to call Melbourne Storm bid to win NRL grand final
3AW will broadcast the NRL grand final for the first time on Sunday night when Melbourne Storm takes on the North Queensland Cowboys.
Melbourne’s #1 station will broadcast all the action from ANZ Stadium via Macquarie Media’s award-winning Continuous Call Team live from 6PM.
“Everyone knows 3AW Is Football but, first and foremost, we are ‘Talking Melbourne’, and once the AFL grand final is done and dusted our sport-loving city will turn its attention to the NRL grand final to see if we can show the Queenslanders how to play their own game,” 3AW Operations Director Stephen Beers said.
“The Storm and its champion players have a chance to consolidate themselves as one of Australia’s greatest teams of the past decade, so it’s only right 3AW is there to capture and share that moment via the best NRL commentary team in the business, spearheaded by Ray Hadley.”
Followed by Remember When, the NRL grand final coverage will complete a massive weekend of sport for the station.
