A 58-year-old worker has been crushed to death by equipment while on a landscaping site near Mildura.

The Rochester man was killed after the bitumen roller, which was being loaded onto a trailer, moved without warning and pinned him between the roller and the trailer.

Police and paramedics conducted CPR on the man but he couldn’t be saved.
