A Victoria Police Inspector has been stood down following an investigation into inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

Ross and John were told on Rumour File this morning, allegations of sexual predatory behaviour have been made against the man.

“A high ranking and well-regarded Victorian emergency services worker has been interviewed and stood down pending further investigations relating to sexual predatory behaviour.”

The Rumour File contributor also indicated the suspension had been “a long time coming”.

Victoria Police later confirmed the rumour to 3AW Breakfast, releasing the below statement.

“A male inspector has been suspended following a Taskforce Salus investigation into inappropriate workplace behaviour. As the investigation is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
