WORD ON THE STREET: Another terrifying jewellery store robbery in Melbourne’s south-east.

Five men wearing balaclavas and armed with a range of objects, smashed their way through an Elsternwick jewellery store.

The men walked into the H&H store on Glenhuntly Road just after 3pm on Tuesday.

The gang smashed display cabinets, before fleeing with jewellery in a white Jeep Cheerokee.

This is the second time the store has been robbed in a matter of months.
