There’s no doubt Footscray is getting behind the Western Bulldogs.

This week’s edition of Your Town had a distinctive red, white and blue feel, with 3AW Drive making the trip to the west to catch up on all of the excitement ahead of Saturday’s Grand Final.

His grandparents were at the 1954 Grand Final to watch their team win, and his dad was devastated when they lost in 1961.

But this time, they’re not worried.

‘Mate, it just means everything. It’s something we have waited for a long time,’ he said.

‘It seems like it’s united all of Melbourne, it’s amazing the support the team and all of the supporters have received.’

‘I’m very excited and hopeful that they will make it, but regardless of that they have given us a wonderful year of football,’ she said.
