‘A class act’: Jelena Dokic announces estranged father’s death

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford says Jelena Dokic is a “class act”, following her announcement of her estranged father’s death. 

The Australian tennis commentator and former professional player took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce her abusive father Damir’s death. 

She highlighted the “difficult” and “complicated” feelings that come with grieving an estranged parent.

Ford spoke to Ross and Russ on 3AW praising how Jelena handled the matter.

“How remarkable she is, that she is not being defined by those years,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
