A cockatoo has been saved after getting stuck in a tree
A sulfur-crested cockatoo has been saved after getting stuck in a tree.
The bird’s foot was caught in the tree at Templestowe on Thursday.
Bird rescuer Christopher Watson freed the bird after a mission that took over an hour.
Christopher told Tom Elliott the bird’s claw will have to be amputated, but it will pull through and “live a happy life”.
