A gun found in an alleged stolen BMW that crashed into three cars at Northcote

A gun has been found in a suspected stolen BMW in Northcote.

The suspected stolen BMW smashed into about three parked cars, leaving a significant damage bill 

Police were called to Clarke Street in Northcote at about 2 o’clock this morning

The occupants may have been injured but didn’t wait around for emergency services to arrive.

A search of the vehicle revealed a firearm.

Police don’t yet have a description of the offenders who remain on the run.

It’s not yet known whether the car was used to commit any other offences prior to the crash.
