A lesson in cryogenics: Dr Brad McKay on 3AW Afternoons

Denis Walter had a lesson in science today. 

Program doctor Dr Brad McKay explained cryogenics on 3AW Afternoons, to tie in with the 50 years since James Bedford was cryonically preserved.

Dr McKay said it was often portrayed as a ‘beautiful, graceful process’ in movies  but the reality was different.

‘I think it’s a little bit of pseudo scientist rubbish,’ he joked.
